Introduction

This overview is written as a quick guide to the insides of dynamic disks. It covers some of the history of why they were necessary, what dynamic disks are capable of and their limitations. Finally, there's a high-level description of the LDM database.

N.B. The overview does not cover how to use Microsoft or Veritas software.
